J.C. MartinLay In It – (short story) – On his ten-year wedding anniversary, Byron rushes home to create a night of romance and love for his wife, but little does he know that she’s on to him and all his ways; story’s motto should be – Be careful WHAT you do…

Ayanna PierceIN SESSION: Tales of Dr. Gwendolyn Kast – (excerpt) – Warning – explicit language – Dr. Gwendolyn Kast is a therapist with kinky ways. 3. DA CYBER CHRONICLES

In episode #14 of Everything’s Going to Be Alright: Cassie was determined to have one of her famous “bonding breakfasts” with Caduceus and Clemson so that she could see what was going on with her girls. The morning was made all the more interesting when Caduceus’ boyfriend from Miami, Jay, made a surprise visit.

NOW, in episode #15: What starts as a fun family atmosphere with take out and talk ends with Clemson attacked and left bleeding, bruised, and crushed – cradled in her mother’s arms.

::Excerpt::

“Is that a problem?” Dru asked. “That we’re just friends. Do you want to be more?”

Randi had no clue what she wanted to do. She knew that she loved Dru, and in her own way, she also loved Maxwell.

He had given her so many things, been there for her in ways Dru hadn’t, couldn’t.

It wasn’t easy to break a heart, let alone three, because in some small way, her decision would hurt all three of them. The wrong thing was to tell Dru she wanted something more with him. She needed time to think through this.

“I can’t answer that right now,” Randi said. “I have to think about everything that’s going on and make the right decision for me.”

“I agree. But I do have one piece of advice.”

“And that is?”

“When you’re sitting down, thinking about what you want,” Dru said, “don’t base your decision on what you can materially get from somebody, but by how you feel inside with that somebody.”

Randi shot up from her chair. “What do you mean by that, Dru? Are you calling me a gold digger or something?”

4. THE POETRY CORNER

@ The Poetry Corner, help us welcome talented poet, Tracy Grenville who shares his poetry and his thoughts about writing!

When asked, What inspires you to write, Grenville replied, “It depends on the moment. Many times it is a word or phrase that sticks in my head that I have to write about. I always write in the early morning for three hours. Sometimes, something good comes out of it and more times than not it’s crap. But it becomes a discipline and it’s a discipline that helps the writing.”

Check out more of TRACY GRENVILLE interview and poetry at The Poetry Corner!
